A LOOK BACK AT 2019

First to the stage at The Irish Post Awards 2019 was boy George, receiving the gong for Outstanding Contribution to Music.

Next up was actress Anna Friel who received the award for Outstanding Contribution to Film and Television.

Donegal-born businessman Tim Kelly received the award for Outstanding Contribution to Business, while Sister Rita Lee won the Outstanding Contribution to the Community Award for her years of work helping the less-fortunate in her Manchester parish.

Piers Morgan was up next to receive the award for Outstanding Contribution to Broadcasting and Journalism.

The winner of the award for Outstanding Contribution to Sport was Paralympic cyclist Katie Dunlevy.

In a grand finale, the Lifetime Achievement award went to actor Colm Meaney.

Nominations are now open for The Irish Post Building Britain Award

The accolade will be presented at The Irish Post Awards 2023, which will take place on Thursday November 9th at The Great Room of The Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane, London.

HOW TO NOMINATE

Companies and Individuals are being invited to nominate their company to be considered for this year’s Building Britain Award.

Nominated companies should be operating within the wider construction sector in Britain and have shown demonstrable success and achievement in their field.

The nominated company should be Irish-owned or Irish-founded and operating in Britain.

A company can be nominated by either individuals or companies, using the nomination form.

The closing date for receipt of nominations is Friday 20th October 2023

An independent panel will consider all nominations and shortlist to three companies, The panel may contact the three finalists for more information. The winner of The Irish Post Building Britain Award 2023 will be announced on the night of The Irish Post Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel Park Lane London.
